Pregnancy Congratulations Messages

Petra as I miss you! ! part- Petra

all remember What happened on 11 September 2001 and as Bush was convinced of the existence in Iraq of dangerous weapons of mass destruction hidden somewhere, and as was later verified, but never found. Well
Centro Scavi di Torino for the immediate effect was that the cherished dream to start excavations at Tell Omar remain such.
I was told that at the end of that year, however, a fact-finding mission went to Iraq for the study, precisely, and cataloging of pottery and that these, once studied, cataloged and stored in the memory of computers were then buried in a hole the excavation and it was passed on a tractor. The officials of the Superintendency iraquena not wanted in their stores. In 2002
they organized a second fact-finding mission.
I still remember the meeting you had in the department and the large group of students who would participate, the speeches, the recommendations of the Head of Mission in Iraq did to those who had never been on what to do and especially on the attitudes of not take place once the case for women's clothing.
The political situation was not at all good and we were all very undecided whether to go or not.
Our "spokesperson" communicated our concerns to the Director Prof. Gullini, which unfortunately now no longer exists and that I remember with great affection and gratitude for all that you taught me, and was violently denounced as cowardice.
We left anyway. The mission was to last two months and we brought in our suitcases, and of course our personal effects, including study materials, photographic paper, film development, a barrage of short stuff.
The number of students participating in the mission was reduced to four, four beautiful girls who arrived in Baghdad almost all of the navel outside!
October 13, 2002 We left and I festeggiai traveling my sixtieth birthday, without a shred of cake, alas. The outward journey was made entirely by air, we went to Amman to Baghdad, Iraq Airways flight with a very expensive and when you arrive at your destination because we went directly to the excavation at his residence in Baghdad there was no place for all.
The accommodation was good also because Paul and Henry, respectively, Head of Mission and great restorer had worked to make it so.
I still remember staying in a lovely single room, outside of which, under my window, slept and snored a musket-armed guard for night surveillance.
The study had two missions: one was to occupy the ivories from Nimrud study at the Baghdad museum and other crockery to catalog and file on the excavations.
Dovendole documenting both I had to divide between Baghdad and the excavation dragging me behind my camera (I had not then my beloved Canon).
Una volta uscite dal museo, alla fine dell'orario e cioè verso le 14, le ragazze venivano riaccompagnate agli scavi mentre io venivo depositata all'Istituto Italo-Iraqueno dove sviluppavo e in seguito stampavo il frutto of my work in the morning. On those occasions, I stayed to sleep in the townhome.
But my problem, at least at the beginning was made up by having to take a cab and explain to the driver who often did not speak anything but Arabic, where I had to carry.
In Baghdad there are no roads nor numbers on doors of homes, but neighborhoods is like a rose up and said to a taxi driver: "Take me to the spreader or Mirafiori.
So I had written on a quadernino the name of the neighborhood, in addition to their home phone number, you never know, and I located the reference points, such asempio a fence or wall a portrait of Saddam in order to give precise directions to the driver. Unfortunately, the taxi drivers

Titanic Theme Invitation

second, how I miss you!-Part

Credo che a poche persone sia capitato to go to Amman, Jordan, three times in five years and not be able to visit Petra.
I know I did.
the first time in 2001, most likely would not have been possible as a single night spent the night in Amman, at the Istituto Italo-Jordan. I say charge for what my group was composed of five archaeologists and by me, a photographer, and our destination was Baghdad to which proseguimmio aboard two enormous jeeps.

1200 miles of desert roads pretty good.
two stops, the first control point of Jordan, the second one iraqueno away a little over two kilometers each other.
Register on our passports computers and cameras (I had my two: the legendary Mamy RB 76 and the Nikon that alone I held a trolley car).

The purpose of our trip was twofold: one part of the archaeologists had the task of reorganizing the houses that we had both on the excavation that Baghdad, 60 km away. To be able to resume excavations were interrupted in 1991 at the time of the Gulf War.
The second group, consisting of an archaeologist and was linked to the project by myself B.RI.LA
This acronym stands for Bureau for Recovering and Investigation Iraqi Looted Antiquies (si può visitare il sito legato a questo progetto, molto ben illustrato).
In poche parole mancavano all'appello almeno 3500 reperti rubati, spariti o semplicemente dislocati in altri musei del paese.

E in un mese ne ho stampata una valanga, in condizioni non sempre ottimali, spesso the cold ( Baghdad in February is quite breezy) with an enlarger in place by at least 15 ½ years rusty.

But the best thing, as usual, after work, was to go to the suq , find the old suq resellers in the copper, after 25 years he still remembered me. and buy so many delicious items that made me drool like a snail.
When I had to let everything in the suitcase, not to drool over, but I was only a cold sweat.

're finished, and I can assure you really need to get busy because times had stood, the departure date approached, and everything had to be finished and delivered to the competent authorities, we have always taken the road home by land.
Petra was a name that caressed my ears, but he was not a single regret.
The photo that adorns this post was taken in the hotel where we stayed in Amman in 2005, and a panel of terracotta Sistu in the dining room.

Good intentions

When I was little, at the beginning of the new year, I used to make the kind of good intentions: I will be more good (read more obedient), but usually I was not a bitch, I will study more, though I did a bunch more on the books and did well in school, not respond to my parents, yes (but is not that you took them to swear, just sometimes the answer is a bit 'arrogant, otherwise my father would have spread like a mat) and so on.

I wonder if today someone spiritual commitment in making the good intentions and I wonder how things go because I sincerely believe that this will not happen again, or at least minimally.

education will be changed and then the family?

will change society?

will change the environment of work or study and the relationship with our neighbors?

older, I learned many things and certainly I have not finished.

I have not finished to wonder to what people are rude, arrogant, roughly, of how strong sense of their rights and neglected the consciences of their duties.

There are basic things to remember for instance, that every action has a reaction and here you must be clearer.

few days ago I read in the newspaper La Stampa that two boys and a girl, to make a "joke" a friend of theirs had created a blog where replacing the same friend writing and in person, sent in the network of posts that were unveiled its tastes, its trends, and not content with this, even his cell phone number for any phone calls.

One day, an unsuspecting young man received a telephone call in which the caller asked an appointment for a meeting, specifying who already knew what were the preferences.

Fortunately, the mother of the young man promptly made a complaint to the police who, thanks to the postal police, they discovered that the thing went on for at least six months, and also and above who were the authors of the joke who are surprised at all the fuss, insisting that theirs was just a "joke".

The consequences were quite heavy as the ridanciano blog authors have been contested various charges against him, and I hope that will not go to jail few traces remain on their criminal record and boy have cost months of hell during which did not have the courage to leave the house in shame, and loss of the school year.

Unfortunately there are too many cases of malice, at home, on the street, at work, so many occasions that if we do mess with trying to trick our neighbor, we feel gratified.

conclude by saying that for four days that we live on this earth is worth to be so poor, bad and very generous ?

Average Cost Of Wedding Flowers In Montana

Duemilaotto

We did it!
We survived the syndrome before Christmas, running more or less wild for the purchase of gifts, decoration of the house, the decorations more or less rich and lavish, depending on the mood and circumstances.
I, for example, I decorated with bows a little 'home and then move quickly into the country because of the snow.
For those few who do not know I live in the hills and the snow is a traumatic experience for me because it makes the roads impassable, and then, like every winter (this is now the 5th) I move to the country, so I picked up as much as possible and I opened my winter home . House very comfortable this year, well equipped, which allowed me to easily prepare Christmas lunch.
As usual I made too much and I'll have to keep in mind, if I can, for next year.
The unusual thing this Christmas and the days that followed, that is, except me, were all sick for my son. his girlfriend (actually arrived home already compromised by a nasty flu that has affected almost all) then my daughter who has even skipped lunch, her boyfriend, my husband and even my mother, so much so that I suggested we go to Lourdes.
There was an exchange of presents some really beautiful, well ... other. never mind. However
is gone and you are forgiven for all the great New Year celebrated in Milan, Turin, Avigliana at home and quietly. I then I
sleek trying to camouflage a part of my spring, succeeding enough.
I was surrounded by young people more or less in their thirties, friends of the daughter of my host, and although the polishing, I felt a bit 'old almost interesting perspectives, while all the other kids heard them on the threshold of life, that beautiful, full of promise, a life together by continuing to buy a house or purchased, the prospect of expanding the family.
But that mood lasted very little.
We started eating, everyone had brought tons of stuff to drink (the other with varying degrees of moderation) and then there was the Karaoke shamelessly during which I performed with my voice with my friend mondina (57 years) singing their hearts out on their own or with another four or five of those in their thirties above, who used wooden spoons or other tools as a kind of microphone. And at midnight fireworks seen at the edge of a swimming pool and as the night landscape of lakes Avigliana that shone with a thousand colors.
Bello.
